About the Event

IS Laax 2016 – The 83rd International Session of the European Youth Parliament

Laax 2016 is one of the European Youth Parliament’s three largest annual events, in which young people from all over Europe gather to discuss current political problems and build friendships across the continent.

The session rests on three principles: Youth engagement, Innovation and Sustainability, effectively meaning that a fresh, lateral and lasting approach is to be taken towards solving today’s problems.

Responsible corporate behavior – how do you walk the talk?

A conference co-hosted by Laax 2016, EYP Switzerland, IGNITE and Oikos. SBB, Swiss Post and IKEA are coming to the Universität St. Gallen to share their vision, strategies and initiatives concerning sustainability and humanistic management, within their companies and in interaction with their stakeholders.

Saturday: General Assembly, Closing Ceremony, Gala Dinner & 20th Anniversary Party of EYP Switzerland

Saturday morning already had the taste of the session going to an end, but not yet were tears shed, as still a lot of resolutions had to be discussed.

Friday: General Assembly & Swiss Night

On Friday everyone was excited in the morning, as today was the day, when the first resolutions were presented, discussed and voted on during General Assembly.
